Children are welcome (as long as they are well supervised by their parents!), and we provide a cot and high chair in each house.

Holidays in the south east of England based around Canterbury provide a full range of activities for all ages.

There are gardens to visit including Mount Ephraim and Goodnestone Park. Historical sites include Canterbury cathedral and St Augustine’s Abbey in Canterbury, and the famous castles of Dover castle, Deal castle and Leeds castle.

Of the many golf courses in the area we are just 15 minutes from the famous Royal St George’s Golf Course.

For children, the seaside is within easy reach at Whitstable, Margate, Broadstairs and Sandwich. Right next door to our holiday cottages is Howletts Zoo Park which is a great attraction for the kids.

For a walking holiday, Kent has extensive footpaths and trails. Most famous of all is the ancient pilgrim route to Canterbury, The North Downs Way. For walkers keen to seek out more history of the area, there is The Saxon Shore Way which is part of the Kent Coastal Path.

Travelling to Canterbury and Kent could not be easier. By train the mainline railway goes from London Victoria to Canterbury East Station and from London Charing Cross to Canterbury West Station. We even have our own local railway station at Bekesbourne station which is on the London Victoria and Dover line.

By car from mainland Europe and France we are only 20 minutes from Dover and The Channel Tunnel at Folkestone.
